Has there ever been a thing or a person who you have wanted/needed, and didn't have...and you think "there is simply no way I can go through the rest of my life without ____________ (insert noun or proper noun here)." and it almost takes your breath away, thinking about how long our lives feel and the idea that we'll go without?

Then time goes by, and every time you think of your noun/propernoun, you lose your breath all over again, thinking "Ugh, I simply can NOT go the rest of my life without!"

And time goes by some more, and when you revisit the idea of your noun/proper noun, the reaction never decreases....punched in the gut "I can't breathe without noun/proper noun! This is insane! I'm going to go get noun/propernoun RIGHT NOW."

and more time passes...

you get the idea.
Apparently we CAN live without.

Let's talk about connectors. Connectors are places, people or things that keep us connected to the things or people we wish for but don't or can't have. You know...we can go to the car lot and test drive that crazy expensive car, just to get a taste. Makes us want it more but we eventually leave the lot, happy to have driven our dream again. Or stopping into the Yankee Candle store to sniff to our hearts content and leave with nothing because they really are so expensive. Go online and look at the beautiful places like Fiji...real live places that are so expensive and hard to get to that we just look, dream, drool and move on...or friends who know friends and you can "check in" with people you aren't in touch with that way, or a blog for people to snoop through or whatever. Connectors.
