Samantha

Okay, the cutest 2 year old girl ever just happens to reside across the street from me. Words cannot do this darling justice. She's part Phillipino. She has THE biggest brown eyes in existence, and her brown hair has just a wisp of curl to it. Her little ears are pierced. You almost have to think Southpark. When I get down to her level to talk to her, all I see are her big brown eyes going !blink! !blink! And she's a good girl too. She will just clean up when she's done playing. I don't have to chase after her like I do my own babies.
AND she speaks. It is the most adorable thing ever when those big brown eyes blink at you and something like "What's this?" "Can I have a cookie please?" or whatever comes out.
And, she's potty training.

I don't know if I've ever told you my philosophy on potty training. I don't do it. I tried with CJ for a minute and said screw it. When he's ready, he'll do it. Who has time to run to the bathroom every 20 minutes when I was working from home and taking care of a newborn Joshy too? Right at 3 he stopped using diapers altogether, and it was done.
Josh did the same.
Julia did the same.
Jordan did the same.

They could have probably been trained earlier. Julia did it herself at 2.5. I just didn't want the hassle of wet clothes, and interrupting our days for it. That could be the "wrong" attitude to have, but they all did it themselves when they were ready.

Yesterday, I was unaware that Samantha (who from here on out shall be called TCTYOITW for The Cutest Two Year Old In The World) didn't have a diaper on. She hated it when she peed in her pants. I'm sure the toilet freaked her out here. The lid is constantly up because there are 4 boys who live here and they run into the bathroom, whip it out, stuff it back in, wash their hands are are outta there like no ones business. Samantha would fall right in. So I put some of Julia's jams on her. I didn't think to put the seat down for her. She found me again later, all wet. DAMN.

BUT I'm learning! Today when she came over I was ready for her. I put the seat down and told her to get me when she was ready. While typing this I heard a little "help" from behind me and !blink! !blink! there she was, doing the potty dance. I high fived her and flew her (she's like 7 pounds) into the bathroom. I had to hold her on the potty so she didn't fall in, but she PEED!!! WHOOO HOOOO!!!!!! You should have seen her smile. I'm ready to pay her to reproduce with Jordan when they are older. Can you imagine? Holy cats those babies would be adorable!!!!

GOOOOO SAMANTHA!!!!
