I'm in less pain, and (sadly) off of the vicodin. Still hard to breathe when I'm standing up, and still quite sore, but I have high hopes of a poop later. :D

Do you want to know what I was thinking about? Of course you do! I was thinking that I bet it is a lot easier to heal from something like donating a kidney than from other surgeries because of your mental state. You are happy and excited that you did this. Whereas for lots of surgeries it is something that people HAVE to do and they usually aren't happy about, in fact, it usually makes them sad and upset which totally depresses their immune systems which makes it harder to heal.
